Could I successfully file a personal injury lawsuit if I hired a attorney?

I was in a car accident 3 months ago. At the scene I didn't realize that I had had whip-lash and hairline fracture to my right arm so I said I am fine and didn't ask for an ambulance. I have been seeing a chiropracor since. Can I still get personal injrury money eventhough 3 months have passed and I haven't filed anything against him yet?

The statute of limitations for automobile accidents in Colorado is three years, so it's not too late to make a claim. The driver's insurance information should be on the police report, which you can get from the police department (or sheriff's department or Colorado State Patrol office). You can make the claim directly to the insurance company or you can hire a lawyer to represent you.

Absolutely. You have 3 years in which to file a claim. So, you are certainly fine there. The delay in getting treatment will be an issue in the case, but it certainly is not insurmountable - especially if you have no pre existing injuries or conditions similar to what you are experiencing since the car accident. I would encourage you to see a medical doctor as well, in conjunction with the chiropractor, and frankly, with a fracture, you ought to see an orthopedist. You need to retain a qualified injury attorney and get the care and compensation you deserve.
